Since May 2011, authors of papers accepted by Compositio Mathematica have the option to have their article made freely available online in final published form (’Open Access’). There is a charge for this which is payable to the London Mathematical Society.
The following open access charges apply:
| Payments from outside the United Kingdom | €2,000 or £1,775 or $2,950 |
| Payments from the United Kingdom | £2,130 (which includes VAT at 20%) |
| NOTE: For payments from the UK, VAT will be charged at the rate prevalent at the time of payment. | |
For information about how to pay the charge, please write to compmath@lms.ac.uk immediately after sending in your signed Licence Agreement form (see the following paragraph).
Authors will be required to sign a standard Compositio Mathematica Licence to Publish. This form will allow authors to indicate their intention to publish under open access.
Users of articles published under open access will be required to agree to the Creative Commons Attribution–Noncommercial Licence and will be entitled to use, reproduce, disseminate, or display these articles provided that:
Users have unrestricted rights to re-use Open Access content for educational and research purposes (but not for commercial purposes).
Where an author has indicated on the Licence to Publish Form that he or she intends the paper to be published under open access, and provided that the appropriate charge has been paid, the paper will be published online and in print as other papers, except that:
The option for authors to submit for publication under open access may be withdrawn at any time.
